What FleetGuard Compliance Provides
FleetGuard Compliance provides compliance monitoring and assurance services to restricted O-License operators. Our service includes:
- Weekly Red/Amber/Green compliance status reports
- Automated alerts for expiring MOTs, tax, insurance, licenses, and other deadlines
- CPC-qualified professional review of compliance data
- Identification and flagging of potential compliance risks
- Recommendations for action to maintain compliance
- Document templates and compliance resources
What We Do NOT Provide
Important: FleetGuard Compliance does NOT provide Transport Manager services. We do not act as, or hold ourselves out to be, a Transport Manager for your operation.
Specifically, we do not:
- Take responsibility for your compliance decisions
- Make compliance decisions on your behalf
- Act as your named Transport Manager with the Traffic Commissioner
- Accept liability for compliance failures
- Represent ourselves as managing your transport operation
Your Responsibilities as a Restricted License Holder
As a restricted O-License holder, you are responsible for:
- All compliance decisions relating to your operation
- Taking action on recommendations and alerts we provide
- Maintaining your own compliance records
- Ensuring your vehicles and drivers meet all legal requirements
- Responding to DVSA enquiries and enforcement action
- All operational decisions regarding your vehicles and drivers
Key Point: Restricted license holders are NOT required to have a Transport Manager. The operator themselves is responsible for compliance. Our service helps you fulfill that responsibility, we don't take it over.
